Sure, it’s built to survive depths that would crush a submarine, but let’s be honest, the deepest it’ll go for most owners is the 3-foot deep end of the hotel pool (with an iced drink in hand). If you really want a legit dive watch for actual diving, you can get bulletproof gear at a fraction of the price-just without the bragging rights or the possibility of being noticed at a yacht club. Look, if your main aquatic activity is bravely retrieving the remote from between the couch cushions, the Deepsea is probably overkill. But it is absurdly over-engineered, so if you ever decide to visit the Titanic (or just want to flex at the office), it’s got your back. It’s wild to think a watch can handle the Mariana Trench but mostly sees desk diving!
