I’ve actually tried on the Gucci 25H automatic, and was really surprised by the finishing-it’s way slimmer and more refined than I expected from a fashion brand. The movement inside is a Sellita, which you’ll also see in some entry-level TAGs, so nothing wild, but it’s solid. Still, Gucci’s focus is definitely more on design and aesthetics than serious horology. If you want standout looks and decent quality, they’re great, but for heritage and watchmaking cred, Longines or TAG are still a step above.
